Tracamyl is focused on sample preservation and storage, distribution of laboratory research products, laboratory automation, sample handling equipment, and the development of real estate assets through its companies: Tracamyl Holding, Micronic, NBS Scientific, AFYS3G, diaago and Stock_My_Lab.

The history of Tracamyl.

2003

Tracamyl was founded in June by one of the shareholders of the family business as a holding company, to own and manage the family’s business activities.

2018

Tracamyl obtained full ownership of Micronic and spun off the laboratory equipment development and production activities in the new established company AFYS3G.

2021

Tracamyl became an active investment and holding company managing its assets from the new Tracamyl Head Office in Almere, The Netherlands.

2024

Tracamyl acquired the Hektros brand, known for designing and manufacturing lab devices including its flagship product, the TipCube, an automated tip rack filler.

Having more than 15+ years of management experience in privately owned companies Gijsbert van der Gaag became an expert in strategically leading companies in the Life Science market. I am specialised in bringing new products to the market from idea to high scale production. I strive to operate business in a way that is exciting and challenging for the people involved.

About Jessica.

Passionate Human Resources Manager driven to ensure the smooth functioning of organisations. With over 5 years of experience in Human Resources Jessica Iske manages the recruitment/ hiring/ selection of new personnel, provides training to further development our people and safe guards the compensation and benefits structure.

About Remi.

Over the last 20 years Remi van Liempt became an expert in the sample storage and preservation market. After his study Industrial Automation with a specialization in International Business Remi specialised in managing and advising on international distribution activities for Life Science products.

About Sophie.

With over 10 years of experience in marketing Sophie Deneer manages the promotion and positioning of our brands and the products and services we sell. Focused on brand awareness through the creation of marketing campaigns Sophie brings new ideas for new campaigns, coordinates with the sales organisations and other companies and departments to produce effective strategies.

About Martin.

With over 30 years’ experience in quality Martin Hoekzema plays a key role in all Quality activities of the Tracamyl group meaning managing quality systems as well as securing product quality. With his broad experience Martin introduces and managed a wide range of Quality Assurance activities. Next to that Martin supports the organisation in Lean Sigma developments.

About Patrick.

Experienced General Manager with a demonstrated history of managing Manufacturing organisations. Patrick is a passionate, creative leader specialised in large scale assembly operations with a passion for Supply Chain Management of Life Science products.

About Heather.

International Business Professional specialized in Finance & Accounting, Export Administration, Compliance, Internal Control and Legal Affairs. With her broad experience Heather Thiessen managed a wide range of projects in accountancy, treasury, credit management, supply chain, contracting and negotiations. In addition, Heather is skilled in the development of departments and efficient processes, logical tools and administrative systems.
