From September 13 to 15 we participated in the annual NBS Days conference: a 3-day event where NBS Scientific sales and marketing colleagues worldwide join together to share experiences, attend training sessions, and discuss goals for the next six months. During this September edition, held in the Netherlands and hosted by the United States, there were training sessions for, amongst others, Micronic, Scinomix, AFYS3G and SPL Guard products. We were updated about new developments in the market and new products that are in the pipeline, but we also refreshed our knowlegde about USP’s and product specifications. In addition, we had an external speaker from Dale Carnegie who talked about how to appeal to buyer motives to close more sales. This gaves us nice new insights which we can use for future sales endeavours.
We also found time to squeeze in some team-bonding activities. We had several drinks and dinners with the NBS Scientific team, but also a lunch during a boat tour on a lake called ‘Gooimeer’ close to the Fletcher Hotel Nautisch Kwartier in Huizen were the NBS Days partly took place.
After many months of connecting online, it was great to meet again in person. Sometimes even for the first time. The NBS Days were a fantastic way to strengthen our team spirit. Here’s to many more NBS Days in the future!
