Highlights of SLAS2025

SLAS2025, the much-anticipated annual conference and exhibition, has once again proven itself as a major event in the field of laboratory science and automation. The event brought together industry leaders, cutting-edge technologies, and groundbreaking innovations, all under one roof. With a focus on advancing science, streamlining laboratory operations, and enhancing research capabilities, SLAS2025 served as a dynamic platform for collaboration and insights.

Among the many distinguished companies present at SLAS2025, NBS Scientific and diaago stood out as they showcased multiple innovations by Micronic and AFYS3G focused on advancing laboratory processes and promoting sustainable practices:

– Micronic Rack Filler LT500: the fully automated rack filling machine maximizes walk-away time, allowing labs to operate more efficiently. Thanks to its innovative, patented technology, laboratories can significantly reduce plastic waste by reusing their sample storage racks, contributing to more sustainable practices.

– Micronic X-Clear tubes: the first on the market to offer unparalleled optical clarity and optimal light transmittance. The tubes are designed for precise sample preparation and analysis. Developed for demanding laboratory workflows, the Micronic X-Clear Tubes offer excellent temperature resistance, delivering consistent performance from -80°C to +210°C.

– Micronic Eco-Friendly Rack Range: comprising the EFC Rack RM and the EFC Refill Rack with refill system, these are the first sample storage products on the market made from 99% in-house reneweld materials. The Micronic EFC Refill Rack offers significant environmental and cost advantages. After 10 uses, the product results in a 61% savings on eco-costs and reduces the carbon footprint by 69%.

– AFYS3G Laser Marker Lambda768: SLAS visitors were able to get a first look of this upcoming instrument. The innovative Lambda768 can laser up to 8 sample storage racks with tubes at a time. It can operate with different rack and tube formats (96-, 48-, 24-formats) in a single run and is compatible with a variety of brands offering sample storage tubes with codeable surfaces.

The Tracamyl companies enjoyed showcasing our product lines, connecting with customers and new people, and being part of the forefront of innovation in life science and laboratory technology. We’re already looking forward to the next edition of SLAS and the exciting opportunities it will bring!
